Taking inspiration from Japanese design the Tanto series from Judith knife company blends traditional with modern techniques and materials.
These feature a 12 degree scadinavian grind, paired with our choice in steel it gets great cutting performance and excellent edge retention.
Each Tanto in the 6 piece set has a number after the name indicating the knife’s overall length. They are all 1/8th inch thick.
The handles are all paracord wrapped and have between 5 to 20 feet of 550 lb test paracord ready to unravel if need arises.
The blade steel chosen for these knives is called Nitro-V and it is laser engraved on the Ricoso of each knife. It is a modern steel based off of AEB-L. The steel features better hardness and corrosion resistance and was created for high quality knives. We heat treat it to 60 HRC for the perfect blend of edge retention, sharpness, and corrosion resistance.

This knife also includes a decorative brass piece with our tree logo on underneath the cord wrapping. This is inspired by a decorative metal piece known as the “menuki” found in the handles of some Japanese katanas.
